The Vibe Writing Checklist
26 checks in four phases, matching the method: Direct, Propose, Judge, Own. Run it on the first session and it will feel slow. Run it on the tenth and it will be the fastest part.
- How to use it
- Before the first message, run Direct.
- When you set up the session, run Propose.
- After every proposal, run Judge.
- Before release, run Own.
Direct
YouBefore the first message. Most generic output traces to a gap here.
Propose
AI proposesWhat the assistant is allowed to do, and how.
Judge
YouAfter every proposal, not just the last one.
Own
YouBefore it leaves the chat.
When a check fails
A failed Direct check means stop and gather: the Vibe Writing Mega Prompt walks through each block. A failed Judge check usually points to a specific tell, and the AI-Tells Checklist names twenty-five of them with fixes. A failed Own check is a fact or a disclosure problem, covered in the fact-checking and ethics lessons.
Checkbox state is not saved. That is deliberate: the list is for one piece at a time.
